Here’s a hard truth: Most scams start with something tiny. A click. A download. A document you never signed.

By the time you realize something’s wrong, the damage is done.

There’s a massive attack happening right now.

🚨 Delete these extensions immediately

More than 840,000 people were hit by malicious browser extensions. These weren’t shady downloads from sketchy sites. Many lived for years in the official app stores for Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

Once installed, they watched everything you did online, grabbing all your logins and passwords, redirecting you to fake sites and even opening the door to full-blown malware. Yikes.

Here’s how to check your extensions:

Chrome:

  1. Click the three dots (top right).

  2. Go to Extensions > Manage Extensions.

  3. Review the list and click Remove on anything suspicious.

Firefox:

  1. Click the three lines (top right).

  2. Go to Extensions and themes > Extensions.

  3. Hit three dots on anything you don’t recognize.

  4. Select Remove.

Edge:

  1. Click the three dots (top right).

  2. Go to Extensions > Manage extensions.

  3. Select Remove on anything sketchy.

Pro tip: If you don’t remember installing it, get rid of it.

Now, check your list against these known bad actors:

  • Ads Block Ultimate

  • Amazon Price History

  • Color Enhancer

  • Convert Everything

  • Cool Cursor

  • Floating Player - PiP Mode

  • Free MP3 Downloader

  • Free VPN Forever

  • Full Page Screenshot

  • Google Translate in Right Click

  • I Like Weather

  • Instagram Downloader

  • One Key Translate

  • Page Screenshot Clipper

  • RSS Feed

  • Save Image to Pinterest on Right Click

  • Translate Selected Text with Google

  • Translate Selected Text with Right Click

  • Weather Best Forecast

  • World Wide VPN

  • YouTube Download

Removing them takes about a minute. Do it now. These extensions were all pulled from the Chrome, Firefox and Edge official stores, and that’s a major red flag.

One more to watch for: A fake ad blocker called NexShield crashes your browser on purpose. When it restarts, it shows a phony warning and offers a malicious “fix.” Deleting it won’t remove everything. Run a full system cleanup if you had this one.

Fake browser extensions aren’t the only threat coming for you.

🏠 The crime that wrecks your family

Scammers can forge the deed to your house. On paper. In real life. No hacking required.

That’s exactly what happened to a Houston family. Criminals forged signatures, filed fake documents and sold a home the family still owned.

The worst part? The new buyer bulldozed it. Decades of family photos and heirlooms were inside. Gone. Could you even imagine?

No break-in. No malware. Just paperwork and a forged signature.

If you think this can’t happen to you, that’s exactly what every victim thought, too.

🛡️ Stop deed fraud before it happens

I use Home Title Lock because it watches what I can’t.
